For the record, I paid $540 for it, but it's definitely a bargain at MSRP.The DMG is a evolution of sorts developed from the Military Armament Corporation model 10 SMG of the 1970s. Overall, I'm very happy with the little pug - so much so that I'm registering it to make it into a SBR next week. I may still throw my SG2 sub gun can on it, but the can is twice as long as the pistol! Worked like a charm and looks straight out of 1984. I mated it with an AAC Evo-9 with a 1/2x28 adapter and a fixed barrel spacer. Mags fit and run, but don't drop free (though I can shake the 33 rounders out). Cocking handle is stiff, but not overly difficult to charge (unlike my Kriss Vectors). The grip is smooth and ergonomic, but I'd prefer it without the finger grooves. That proved to be the case on my range visit. Mechanically, the trigger doesn't seem to be able to slap on resetting. Trigger pull is nice and crisp with a simple, audible reset. Machining is tight and clean and the ceracoat finish/laser engraving is perfect. I'm happy to report that it's a beautifully realized little gun.

I typically stick to your standard higher-end stuff (FN, Spikes, LWRC, Sig and CZ), so I was a little weary of this shooter based on the MAC design. Received my bronze MPA930DMG last Thursday and am very impressed. It doesn't have the hand guard end cap like mine nor does it appear to have a threaded barrel (unless as it is shown has the faux suppressor on it and the barrel stops inside the hand guard). Interesting side note, there is now a Limited Edition 935DMG. Even if you don't I see it as a range toy or home defense weapon. Even the standard 930DMG will be a highly compact SBR once you put on a suppressor. This is more of a SBR candidate and SMG type gun with the 9mm caliber. The DMG's have a fully machined lower and grip (no stamped steel).

Plus the DMG series lower and grip are completely different than the 930SST variants. As for the Glock comparisons, this is no carry gun and is heavy all metal. I feel the 930DMG is a pretty darn good value compared to the competition I was considering and shouldn't be compared to a standard 930SST, MAC-11, or Glock 17. I don't think the user realizes the differences aren't just a grip angle. I found a similar thread on an UZI forum and a user there didn't feel these were a good value (not a member so I didn't post). I will warn people that the new Magpul PMAGS don't seat all the way, so unless you want to dremel a little off the base plate, just get regular glock and clone mags. I wanted a longer functional barrel instead of a faux suppressor, the short hand guard, and tungsten cerakote. I swapped a few emails with the owner (Phil) and asked for a semi custom setup.
Plus it will be an awesome candidate for an SBR if I decide later to do so. Watched a YouTube vid on a MPA factory tour, which was pretty impressive on their quality, and pretty much sold me with the glock mag angled grip update. This was cheaper than any of those options, USA made, is all metal, and a proven reliable design. I wanted a fun range toy, was looking at the CZ Scorpion, Tavor 9mm Bullpup, and MP5k clones. I was a leap of faith sight unseen and really no reviews. Was taking forever to get to stores and only seemed available in burnt bronze.
